Make these sweet little treats for a brunch, bridal shower or baby shower. They are so easy and you can play with the ingredients. Try using different citrus with different berries. Enjoy!
1 (80z) container soften light cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 tablespoon orange juice
2 (2.1) oz package frozen mini-phyllo pastry shells
sliced fresh strawberries
Stir together the first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Spoon cream cheese into the center of each pastry shell. Top each with one fresh sliced strawberry and dust with orange zest. yields 28 tarts
**you can make the cream cheese filling the day before and store in the refridgerator…garnish and fill pastry shells an hour before guests arrive.
