Use this on pasta, chicken, fish or as a pizza sauce under your favorite toppings!
Makes 1 cup of pesto
2 cups fresh basil
2 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 cup olive oil
Clean basil and pat dry. Add first 4 ingredients to a food processor and pulse for 1 min. Stop and scrap down the sides. Add in cheese and pulse for another minute. Stop and scrap down the sides. Add in olive oil while food processor is pulsing. Transfer to a container and store in the fridge or freeze.
